Who is Ritu Rani?
Ritu Rani is an accomplished PCS officer who worked her way up through hard work and perseverance. She hails from Mahabalipur in Muzaffarnagar’s Charathawal Block. Her education began in the village's primary school, followed by intermediate studies at Arya Kanya School in Charathawal. Later, she graduated from Maharaj Agrasen College.
After completing her graduation, Ritu Rani pursued further studies, obtaining an A-Level diploma in Polytechnic. She then completed her MBA in Management Studies from Dehradun and worked in private jobs for a while. While working, she simultaneously prepared for civil services. During this period, she also completed her B.Ed. and LLB, and cleared various exams like UPTET and CTET.
In 2019, she cracked the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) exam, securing the 34th rank and getting selected for the esteemed position of Deputy Collector.

The viral video stems from an event held in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh, where the Kalki Festival was being celebrated. During a performance by popular Haryanvi singer Renuka Pawar, SDM Ritu Rani couldn't resist joining the dance. Her lively performance quickly captivated the audience, and her fellow officers and staff cheered her on.
